does anyone actually care about the CPHA=0 SPI modes? as far as I can tell they just make implementation more annoying for no good reason by adding an odd clock transition at the end
virtually everywhere I see uses mode 3 (CPOL=1,CPHA=1), and I guess you could use mode 1 (CPOL=0,CPHA=1) if you wanted to trigger on negedge for some reason
