Also, a lot of the very rich and powerful want to keep the rest of us uneducated and fighting among ourselves so we don't notice they're the real problem and actually pretty mediocre intelligence-wise themselves. I'll take a kind but not very intellectual person over a cruel but very smart one anyway to hang out with. Also, being educated and taught how to think is a very real privilege (which is why the rich try to limit open access to education and it's radical to educate oppressed and poor people). And, like all privileges, we should recognize it as such and it should really be a right not a privilege. We need to free our asses and our minds!
