Often I hear people in the office talking about their commute experience, obviously. Especially when it comes to public transit, they often state a lot of facts. It's their lived experience, they have no reason to lie, they don't intend to lie. Usually, the facts are just wrong. They represent their experience which is, obviously, fair enough, things that are happening to them are happening to them, but whenever they claim some fact, even if relatively observable (say, paper capacity of the buses), they get it wrong. Often very wrong. It's sort of weird.

And bit of a shitshow when they get to decide public policy.
