I hate to tell you this, but Netflix and other streamers did not invent the concept of mediocre filler tv. Go back and actually try to watch any of ABC’s TGIF offerings or any of the roughly 500 shows NBC tried to cram in between Friends and Seinfeld or any reality show ever created.
There is, and always has been, a market for crap tv. I’m sorry if that makes you sad.
