They can buy bitcoin, easily zap it, and easily receive it. It's a great spending wallet. Yes, it has KYC, that's because for ease of use and implementation, they use Strike.

That said, you can lie 👀 Use a fake name, a new email address, and choose a country that isn't where you reside like Costa Rica or El Salvador. You can also sign up via a VPN. There's no verification. That's because you can only hold a million sats in there. They may increase that? I believe it can go up to 4M? I do not remember the limit, it's technically more.
