Dallas J. Kobriger passed away on July 31, 2024, after a long and storied life. He was born in Chilton, WI, the son of Roman and Mary Belle (McHale) Kobriger. At the age of 17, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946. He met his wife Helen Holler while on shore leave in New York, NY. After retiring in 1983, Dallas volunteered at the V.A. Hospital in Milwaukee, accumulating 25,000 volunteer hours. He was a proud member of the Pewaukee American Legion 71 and Pewaukee VFW Post 9537. Dallas was preceded in death by his wife Helen, son Dallas, and brothers John, Leroy, Clifford, and Donald. He is survived by his children Bruce, Kevin, Scott, and Kelly, grandchildren Kyle and Jared, great-grandchildren Graham and Beck, and siblings June, Dorothy, Jerome, Bob, and Kathy. Private family services will be held.
