many progressives think that re Dems. but there is a Libertarian party, Constitution party, Greens and others. no party will ever represent us 100%. candidates will differ with their party. voting is compromise. probably most people have views on the left and on the right. any electoral process will influence how the people's will gets translated into govt, but most think we can do better than we have in the US. I want parties to have less power. more candidate independence.
