Spent a bunch of time in the yard today doing chores. While up on the ladder cleaning gutters and drains the male Anna’s hummingbird was all aflutter at me and concerned that I cut branches out of his magnolia.
However, at one point he hovered right in front of me on the ladder and then accepted my close proximity to the feeder and went in for a snack keeping an eye on me. I felt blessed.
