It’s waffles & bananas this morning.
I used whey & yogurt instead of milk, out of curiosity. Liquid affects crust tremendously. That should be obvious, but I suspect not. I’ve used yogurt and whey in muffins before, deliciously tender.
Waffles, so far, I find best results are full-fat buttermilk, for a crispier exterior. (3.5% fat.)
So, this is not the crispy waffle I seek. Yummy tho!
Toasted walnuts & maple syrup. And a sprinkle of salt. Makes all the difference. #food #breakfast
