(And yeah the pub rock doesn’t help the tinnitus either - I used to see bands like The Angels regularly as a teen and they were always off the scale, and then lived in and around St Kilda for 15 years, so going to the Espy, Prince, Palace, etc. was just default entertainment at least a couple of nights a week.)
