Great points, thank you Vitor!
quoting nevent1q…x0frI am not laughing. I think your thesis is an extremely common thesis these days. Everybody thinks they just need devs at the end of an AI-made project. I have been coding with AI for over six months now. I think I got enough proof points to report that it won't work.
Last week I tried to help 2 different projects that were at 95% of their "vibe conding app". The code was so difficult to read and modify that it became impossible for me to help them finish. And the app was for Android, which I have over 15 years of experience coding for.
AIs don't code for humans. They code for themselves. Adding a human in the loop destroys the efficiency generated by them. In the short term, humans can't do anything to help and in the long term they won't need to.
