I broadly share both views, and they’re not contradictory.
The missing piece of the puzzle as *always* is the lack of investment in social infrastructure.
E.g. High house building targets are important, but in isolation create more fundamental problems in the long run if not also matched to increasing capacity in Schools, NHS, Utilities provision, etc...
Every Government in recent times has ignored this.
