On this #MemorialDay I choose to go against the national grain, to refuse to glorify violence and death, and instead to honor #peace. Today I honor people in the demographics targeted by military recruiters. Low income people of color already fight an unjust system here at home, and should not be targeted by the US economy, job market, housing market, police, and military for use as cannon fodder. Our friends, family, neighbors, and fellow citzens are not expendable.
