I frequent different NYC forums, and I'm amazed at the amount of people that lose their wallet/bag that has their passport and ID in it.
When I travel, my ID, especially my passport is part of me, it's in a pocket that is part of the clothes I'm wearing, not a jacket or coat, not a bag, or purse, it's on my physical self. I guess it's cause my parents took me traveling when I was young and the one thing that was instilled was having your ID
