Little do they know there is a history of repatriation to Africa since after the civil war. None of it was ever successful. Liberia and the surrounding countries are absolute shitholes. Africans do not like black Americans and they view them as foreigners, and can tell the difference pretty easily, and they will pay the foreigner tax on all goods and services. In Ghana, black American expats were complaining that stores charge them more for being foreigners and the local governments requires extra fees for them too to live there.
