I mean, if you sign a contract saying "this is all my own work" and it turns out that you're engaging in questionable practice and what you're selling might NOT be all your own work, then your customer would be perfectly entitled to hold you in breach of contract and tell you to fuck right off (and repay the book advance too).
If you're a professional author and you want to use LLMs that's fine but you must be up-front about it and ensure your publisher is happy to proceed on that basis.
