Within the broader world of Catholicism, there is a niche subset that believes in sedevacantism: the belief that, after the death of Pope Pius XII, there was no true pope who took up the mantle. This has resulted in a number of splinter groups claiming their own popes, including a small group of people in Kansas who, with 6 people in attendance and with a papal throne that sits in the back of a thrift store, elected their own pope, Pope Michael.
I plan on watching this documentary around 6 PM EST, if anyone wants to watch it at the same time :3
