From Jeremiah - Schmetzer’s availability started on a somber note today, announcing that Alan Reed had passed away recently. Reed was a photojournalist with KING5 and has been covering the Sounders since their USL days. He was at training just last Thursday, in fact. He will be missed.
“I loved Alan. He was always good to the Sounders, good to me. I loved the banter with him. He was a good guy. It’s certainly a sad day.” -
#Sounders head coach, Brian Schmetzer
