The west coast and American west / southwest in general has the most beautiful natural wonders of anywhere I’ve ever been but the architecture is disgusting and abysmal.

America in general but especially the west coast and Midwest is an exceptionally ugly place from a construction / architecture standpoint. It’s demoralizing to me to the point that it is among one of the main reasons I’m going to leave this country. Architecture should inspire, not demoralize.
