This hassle of having to mock up a test for this simple list comparator is making me remember that my virtual pet has exactly 0 automated testing in it and I have absolutely no idea how you'd even implement that without some fancy thing to talk to the hardware from USB.
Presumably there's some way to compile the firmware to run on x86 and, idk, debug it? At least?
