The CIA files on JFK offers nothing new to the narrative except two important points that I'm sure no one will follow up on.
1.) The Israeli Intelligence service involvement and communications with FBI and CIA is redacted.
2.) “The day after the assassination, Gary Underhill left Washington in a hurry. Late in the evening he showed up at the home of friends in New Jersey. He was very agitated.
A small clique within the CIA was responsible for the assassination, he confided, and he probably would have to leave the country.
Less than six months later Underhill was found shot to death in his Washington apartment. The coroner ruled it suicide.”
This implies the CIA itself had a small division tasked with the assassination.
The other interesting thing is that within the KGB itself and CIA both have external matters that they both wanted to be dealt with.
