When I look at the #fossilfuel & #infrastructure firms that are behind the current crop of #carboncapture projects, I cannot help think this is more about harvesting more Govt. money than about dealing with the #ClimateCrisis. It looks a lot like 'corporate welfare' to me;
better to spend the money on accelerating storage for #renewableenergy (which is about already viable technologies) than a punt on a un-scaled technology sold to us by the people who are continuing to this mess!
