Dio suddenly got really sick today. Vomiting, blood in his stool, weak, lethargic, diarrhea, inflamed backside. Last night, he seemed tired, but I just assumed it was a cat being lazy. This is almost exactly like what happened to Piggy but at a vastly accelerated rate and he is just a kitten, not an old cat who has a full life.

I had two options. Take him to the shelter and give him up and guarantee he got proper medical treatment, or get over the counter deworming medicine and hope for the best.

At the last second, I chose the latter and now, it is unclear if he will recover or not. I should have taken him to the fucking shelter instead of being a selfish fuck who didn't want to give him up and now it's too late. Idk if he will even make it thru the night and the shelter might be closed tomorrow.

It was fucking dumb to think I could have another pet and now he might pay for my fuckup with his life, not even a year old.
