I have no trust in institutions anymore. I don’t even know how I’ll ever vote again, something I used to really respect. They’re supposed to make sure that laws work before they pass them.
When the AHRC intervened in Tickle v Giggle, they admitted in their submission that there was a conflict in the law with sex & gender identity (and then proceeded to solve the problem with gender identity, which is the problem. They’re solving the problem with the problem). And I’m like… so if you are aware that there is a conflict in the law, why are you giving citizens “gender identity discrimination” complaints? Why aren’t you fixing the problem in the law? I will never forgive them. I want them to be closed down. They’re not fit for purpose. They’re an ideology commission, not a human rights commission.
