I don't want to forget the xz backdoor in a week, like just another news story that goes by and is quickly swept away by the next thing. I want this to lead to some kind of permanent change in how we interact with open-source projects. Still trying to figure out what an individual with a typical software developer's income can do though.

And unfortunately, like everyone else, I do have work to do, and I should get back to it.
