There's this little voice in the back of many white liberals' heads telling them if they don't have a majority of white people supporting them then they're doomed to failure or even that they're wrong somehow, that white conservatives must have a point and may even be right.

And no matter how many times you tell them this is a fucking racist country full of racist people, this fear of standing apart from other white people repeatedly gets in the way of them pursuing any kind of progress.
