I wish there was more experimentation around this UI. Feels the same for 20 years. One thing I really want is a nearly-equal distinction between groups of recipients and subjects lines. I frequently have big group and small group in one “thread” with internal discussion about something. Big group vs small group seems like an easy distinction to start with and it almost never as easy as dividing by domain name.
