Where we are, no one is truly organic, but they know countless ways of doing things that are based on traditional methods and knowledge. All of which is invaluable and impossible to find in a book. Not everything is useful, but if you never start a conversation you'll never find the bits that are - let alone make good friends with your neighbors and build community.
