Anyway, Jon has repeatedly questioned my motives but I don't question his. Jon says he cares about privacy and I choose to believe him. So I fully expect he will be shortly turning on more privacy protections, such as the tracker blocker by default and tracking query parameter blocking for the benefit of Vivaldi's users. I will heartily and publicly celebrate those advances as soon as they happen.
