A reminder, no matter how hard you try, there are things you can't *meaningfully* explain to people who do not (yet) have the background to understand it. There is only so much gap you can bridge in a single attempt. Some things truly require education and a lot of time. Here Feynman (in pain I think) explains the limits of explanation:
