People dot undn'erstand what corporations are supposed to be for, and how government is supposed to carefully control what they do.
Corporations are contracts allowing investors to aggregate funds to accomplish something individuals can't do alone. Like build a factory. When govt decides not to just do something itself it allows (contracts out to) private parties to manage it for us. In exchange these private parties keep limited profits. /1
