Not really in practice. Lots of users will lose data. And lots of users will lose the *latest* copy of things, such as profiles, or app data. Many accounts will basically become semi-zombie that intermittently cant zap or receive zaps. This happened to me for ages. And it's really hard to fix. I still cant zap after about a year, and have basically given up on zaps.
