Ukrainian forces invaded Russia—not occupied parts of Ukraine that Russia’s trying to annex, but part of Russia proper—and while Russia is working to counter it, they’re not escalating in retaliation, because they’re already doing anything they can think of to Ukraine.
Keep that in mind next time Russia says “or else.”
