As I think has been pointed out before with many religious texts, it's easier to preach peace when you aren't the dominant religion... in the New Testament of the Bible, Christianity would have been a minority within a minority.
Which makes me think: If nothing else changed in society except for Christianity as a dominant religion, I swear people would call you woke for invoking it.
