Well, I'm now the child who won't give dad the pain meds he really wants (oxy) so he has to ask for something else. I didn't actually _not_ give him any, I made him eat before he got any.

And ironically I'm the one trying to get him a new doctor who will actually respond to this situation and prescribe different pain meds.
