This morning’s shop time finished the carving on one side of the bench seat, and laid out the centers for a S-braid on the other side. I also mixed some turquoise milk paint to paint the carved bits (it needs to sit overnight to dissolved nicely).

Ron Aylor’s “Categories of 17 Century Mannerist Carving” and Jögge Sundqvist’s “Karvsnitt” were looked at repeatedly for ideas. #woodworking #woodcarving
