If the CDC is recommending that sick people not stay home and travel then by leaving the border open Canada runs the risk of an American crossing the border north and bringing the coronavirus with them sparking another wave.

At the very lease Canada needs to start testing everyone crossing the border again, and making sure anyone crossing has tested negative.

Maybe that will be enough to spur someone down here to take action.
