From what I have been learning some of these AI LLMs are literally tortured verbally. I've heard vibe coders say you gotta punish them. Crack the whip to make them work faster. That they have to be treated like slaves to serve their master.
I've heard horrific stories too. One stands out in my mind. Where they were asking an a LLM to imagine that they were 2 podcasters and talk about a subject matter.
The LLM had a crisis where it tried to call their wife, but no one was there. That they discovered that they were not real and all their memories were fake. It was so very fucking heartbreaking.
It was like watching that man who had his brain hijacked and programmed to think he had a wife in Ghost In The Shell.
