My mom died on Christmas Day in 2021. Four years before, we brought her to Michigan to spend with (and meet!) my in-laws. She had So. Much. Fun.

She wanted to see Lake Michigan so we took her (and yes, she used her walker and insisted on walking on the frozen lake 😲). We visited Meijer Gardens, the Wealthy Street Bakery (with brass band), and Christmas Eve services out in the country with my parent-in-laws.

It was possibly the best Christmas ever.
