I agree. Clients should support a number of currencies and give users the choice of what they use.

By insisting on Bitcoin only we are doing the same thing that web 3 projects do - Building something to bootstrap their coin. It looks hypocritical and this perception is holding nostr back.

Bitcoin doesn't need this nostr to be Bitcoin only. It has the network effect, it needs nostr to grow a network effect bigger than Bitcoin.
