Also, maybe someone being nasty to you is because you did something wrong. It’s wrong to assume everyone else is the problem. You don’t deserve abuse but you definitely shouldn’t assume you’re always in the right. No one’s perfect. Maybe you were being an asshole, so other people were assholes to you.
