Old school but corporates with dinosaurs at the top and hundreds, if not thousands of nameless employees still demand university degrees. I don't enjoy working in those cultures anyway. Sure, job security may arguably a bit better (but that's mostly an illusion anyway, what with all the tech layoffs), but this whole, "my job, your job," ass-covering, backbiting, sniping pettiness that goes on is not my thing. I like small teams where everyone can do anything and you feel like you have real agency, and what you do really makes a difference.
