We wrapped up our fall 2024 session of the Orange Hatter Women’s Reading Club with a deep dive into Chapter 14 of The Hidden Cost of Money by sebbunney (npub1tm2…lpna).
The best part?
Seb himself joined us for a heartfelt discussion about the book! 🙌
We shared our favorite parts, asked Seb questions, and talked about the big ideas in the book, like:
✨ The psychological consequences of a broken money system.
✨ The emotional toll on parent-child relationships.
✨ The far-reaching effects of money on every aspect of our lives.
Seb answered every question with so much kindness and passion.
Everyone in the group agreed—it was the best moment of our fall session and a perfect way to celebrate our shared journey through the book. 📚💡
Beyond the pages, this reading club has been a space for open dialogue, growth, and connection.
Tonight we toasted our accomplishments—reading a book cover to cover, discussing each chapter in depth, and building friendships that enrich us beyond words.
What I treasure most is the freedom to share openly, without fear of judgment. With our diverse backgrounds—cultural, educational, and experiential—we’ve created a space where different perspectives challenge us to think bigger and grow stronger.
This isn’t just a reading club—it’s a community of women empowering each other through learning. 💬💪
Now, we take a break for the holidays, and I can't wait for January 2025, when we’ll kick off the new year with Fiat Food: Why Inflation Destroyed Our Health and How Bitcoin Fixes It by Matthew Lysiak and Saifedean Ammous
