Summary #Russia of Andrey “Murz” Morozov suicide letter:

Since his post about Russian 16’000 losses in Avdiivka he was subject to harassment from both “law enforcement” and “patriots”. He also mentions another type of bullies, who he ironically calls “friends”, who called with a 100% typical Russian advice: “you can’t change anything”, but also coming with a grain of hope: “Putin wins elections, and reforms will start”. Morozov bitterly says he didn’t even bother to quote a popular meme “Putin and expensive gasoline - 20 years of solving the problem”.

His commander received an order to force Morozov to delete the 16’000 losses post from his channel, blackmailed by Moscow that he won’t get military supplies otherwise (Morozov was an active soldier). He also writes about the hate campaign unrolled by “political prostitutes” explicitly mentioning Solovyev. And then says “I will execute myself, if nobody dares himself, so your supplies are unblocked”.

He mentions Igor “Bereg” Mangushev, another Russian was criminal, who year ago was killed by soldiers from “Wagner Group” in what appears to have been a regular robbery. He recalls Mangushev’s words “Andrey, I have no clue what I’m doing here!”

He says he’s not going to escape anywhere, because Russia is his motherland, “captured by enemies - flexible ass-lickers; generals ready to kill thousands of soldiers only to stand out; journalists, building their careers on lies from the screen”

He quotes his report he filed to a military prosecutor but was rejected, where he described a situation in regiment 1487 where freshly mobilised soldiers were forcibly turned into a penal battallion with mercenaries serving as barrier unit.

Lots of ramblings follow, he mentions Bushido, Japanese code of honor, and wishes his friends to “celebrate the victory over enemies of Russia in Paris”. Make no mistake, Morozov was a fierce nationalist and supporter of Russian imperialism, just like Girkin. His suicide indicates that the systemic problems and contradictions of Russian system of governance haven’t gone anywhere - they were successfully covered with a blanket of repressions and propaganda, but frustration is still bubbling there.
