Devs started building Android apps 14 years ago 🤯
Which means that today, the vast majority of Android devs *maintain* apps instead of building new apps from scratch ☺️ which requires a very different skillset & mindset.
I'd love to watch a conference where the topics aren't "new tech who dis" (compose, coroutines, ... 👀) but instead about maintaining legacy Android, codebases, dealing with turnover & onboarding, etc.
Call it AndroidCompatConf or something..
