Just to nitpick, there aren't really any Chinese-made cars on the road in the US. The vast majority of cars in LA would be either manufactured in Japan, the US, or Mexico.
Even the big Japanese and Korean brands like Toyota/Honda/Nissan/Hyundai/Kia produce a lot of their models at US factories for the US market.
