My wife and I moved to the hills just east of Sacramento last year. The solitude has been indescribably healing to my head, heart, spirit, and soul. Honestly, though, it feels as though I’ve “gotten it out of my system” and we both are dying to move closer to town; not a city, since we both grew up in cities (I grew up in the insane tourist district of Hollywood CA and I’ve had enough of helicopters and fast cars for a lifetime 😂), but closer to other humans within walking distance.
I hope you enjoy the heck out of it!! One of the best things I ever did.
