Watching news of #Milton and hoping my dad in Sarasota will be fine.
Update from his very good residence: SBC continues to be in the anticipated track of Hurricane Milton. If Milton continues on the same track, we expect the property to begin experiencing tropical storm force winds Wednesday morning. Staff began storm preparations this morning and we had a good meeting with residents this afternoon.
Emergency food and medical supplies will arrive on Tuesday, along with staff that will remain on the property for the duration of the storm.
As a reminder, SBC is 21’ above sea level and has a very strong concrete structure, We will “shelter in place.”
