My gym shares premises with a Chinese landlady downstairs. If you ever had a Chinese landlady you know the genus. Hard nosed, does maintenance only when absolutely critical...
...now in Australia we have these "wailing walls " in mens toilets.
It's basically a cleverly designed stainless steel wall that causes your urine to splash onto your shoes when you evacuated your bladder against it. It's the way we do things here down under, probably to out alpha the dingoes and drop-bears with the scent of manly man urine on your shoes.
So anyhoo. The downstairs is basketball courts so hordes of young (mainly) males are very enthusiastic with their bladders...
...and of course the wailing wall auto flusher broke...for the last X months.
Rather than paying the plumber $50,900 and two virgins. The Chinese lady (or someone in her family) chose to hack together this unique auto flusher mechanism.
A powerpack in the ceiling (I'm sure there was no PowerPoint there), running some sort of a timer/motion detector automation stuck to the ceiling, which in turn releases a solenoid valve that flushes a plastics watering array that looks as if it's been ripped out of a 420 hydroponic rig...
...all that so you don't need to get a plumber.
You gotta respect that degree of dedication to saving money and violating building codes!
