Fuck the markets. Concentrate on what is good for the people and the planet. Financial markets have long abandoned their purpose, which is to bring investors and those in need of investment together. Instead, they have become an abusive and exploitative force, which only serves to create profits for the largest investors, even if this means the death of companies, loss of jobs, environmental destruction and the ruin of smaller investors.
